Bulky socks, be gone — the chicest shoes for winter just so happen to have built-in cozy lining. With details such as fur trims and insoles, designers incorporated extra warmth features and added them onto boots, loafers and, yes, even heels.
While fur-lined boots are the most traditional of the assortment, new treatments were introduced this season. Alvaro’s below-the-knee boot was lined with shearling on both the inside and outside. Christian Louboutin’s patchwork boot went for high impact with a matching multicolored fur trim.

Fur-lined loafers — a trend undoubtedly spurred by Gucci’s new version of its iconic horsebit loafer — will leave you both comfy and cozy. Loro Piano’s fur-lined suede tassel loafer is a luxe, classic take that will never go out of style.
Meanwhile, fashion risk-takers can experiment with fur-lined heels. Fendi’s ankle-strap sandal has a striped fur sole that will keep your feet warm. If that proves to be too toasty, Salvatore Ferragamo’s stiletto only has fur on the ankle strap and back.
